ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS DAY 2011
The firm honored its entire staff with a great lunch at Kanki Hibachi Grill in appreciation of the combination of professionalism and compassion that they show to the firm’s clients and each other on a daily basis. It was much fun and much appreciated by the staff.
2010 SUMMER CLERK
The firm is pleased to have Douglas Ansel with us in the capacity of summer associate (clerk). Doug will be a rising 3L at the Wake Forest University School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Duke University. He is an Eagle Scout recipient, and counts among his interests horseback riding, camping, hiking and photography. Doug spent the summer of 2006 studying abroad at the University of New South Wales in Australia.

Diane Griffin was elected to a three-year term on the NCAJ Board of Governors, which follows her service on the Board of Governors last year ex officio as President of the disability section.

Charles Hall presented on the topics of attorney’s fees (“Attorney’s Fees for Representation before Social Security – Nuts and Bolts”), on May 14, and on practical pointers (“And An Attorney to Be Designated Later”), on May 15.

Charles Hall was honored by the State Bar’s Social Security Disability Law section members, a specialization that Charles helped establish, with their leadership award for distinguished service. This is a particularly significant recognition by board certified Social Security disability law specialists in appreciation for the many contributions Charles has made in the field of disability law.

Charles Hall was the featured speaker providing an overview of the Social Security disability process and its applications to those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS at a state-wide Resource Day for advanced training of HIV case managers and social workers from various agencies and organizations.
